OIFC completes five years in its endeavor to promote overseas Indian investment into India and facilitate business partnerships. Thousands of overseas Indians come to the site every day to draw from the portal’s Diaspora Knowledge Network and receive expert guidance on investment, banking, taxation and legal issues.
OIFC started its journey on 28th May 2007, under the guidance of the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). It has today emerged as a credible and unique one-stop-shop for providing a single-window facilitation and advisory service for economic engagement of overseas Indians in India.
