A Thank you for writing to us. In order to transfer the money invested in stock market, you have to first sell your shares from your Demat Account and wait for the sales proceed to be credited to your PIS Accounts. Afterwards, the money has to be transferred to respective savings bank account. Once the money gets credited to saving bank account, you can initiate the request for outward remittance from your bank account in India after the completion of appropriate documentation. NRIs can invest in Indian stock market or real estate either through repatriation or non-repatriation basis. Investment in stock market should be routed through PIS accounts. In order to know more, it would be advisable to share certain information with us, like email id and Contact Number (s) along with the convenient time so, that our representative can get in touch with you and guide appropriately.
