A As an NRI you can invest in multiple option varies from equity, bank deposits, mutual funds and ULIP which can give you the desired return. With deregulation, the rate of interest on NRE deposits have become very attractive in the current market scenario giving secure tax free return in tune of 9-9.4%. The rate of interest varies and depends on the tenure as well as amount of investments. Apart from that, you also have an option to invest in mutual fund either on repatriation or non-repatriation basis based on the source of income. These investments in mutual funds can be done on SIP, Lumpsum and STP mode.

As you are aware that equity market there days shows lots of fluctuation and hence, it is better to do investment through SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) mode in Mutual Funds as per your risk appetite, time horizon and investment goal. In order to invest in Mutual Fund, KYC from CVL is mandatory along with bank account and investment account. If you are looking for medium to long term investment, then investment in diversified equity funds will be recommended apart from that you also have an option to invest in ULIP, which too is a market linked product for long term financial planning giving tax free return.

In order to assist further, it would be advisable to share your name, email id as well as telephone number along with convenient time so, that our representative can get it touch with you and would guide appropriately based on your risk appetite and investment goals. The security of the funds depends on the investment mode selected and the amount of investment made. We are premium knowledge partner of OIFC and the 4th largest private sector bank in India. We thank you for choosing us and have a host of banking products for NRI's to choose from.
