Spotlight: India's aviation and allied industry

Representing the success story of Indian aviation,  the country is poised to become the fastest growing market in the world for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services over the next decade. The MRO spend by airlines in India is US$ 500 million and is expected to grow to US$ 1.5 billion by 2020.
Interestingly, Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi has been ranked the 14th best airport in the world in the Airports Council International's airport service quality survey for 2010.
India's growing aviation market and huge aircraft orders is lucidly highlighted by the numerous foreign players foraying into India and setting up their facility in india by way of joint ventures etc.
