CII is organizing SOURCE 2011 – The 4th exhibition on Manufacturing Sourcing & Buyer-Seller Meet from 8-9 December 2011.
Over the years, manufacturing outsourcing has been playing a key role in the industrial progress of India. In order to be economical and efficient, large manufacturers source their requirement of components and sub-assemblies from the SME sector, which is the backbone of the Indian Industry. Today Indian SMEs are well equipped to produce components as per International Standards. Besides supplying to the domestic manufacturers, SMEs are taking strategic positions in the international market both as OEMs and replacement suppliers. Companies in India have a special capability to supply high quality components at reasonable prices. More and more global players are looking for sourcing of engineering goods. Maharashtra is known for its excellent manufacturing base and is the hub for Global Sourcing.
