India Economic Summit 2010

The India Economic Summit 2010, which is jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the World Economic Forum (WEF), annually is the most important and keenly awaited business event of the year. This year’s Summit is scheduled to be held from 14-16 November 2010 at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.
The theme for IES 2010 is "Implementing India", which will bring together over 600 business and government leaders from both domestic and international, as well as over 100 reporting press from major international and influential Indian media organizations to explore many facets of the Indian economy in depth, and identify the opportunities and challenges that will shape the country’s future business environment.
The distinguished panel of Co-Chairs who would lead the Summit this year are: Jon Fredrik Baksaas, President and Chief Executive Officer, Telenor, Norway; Ajit Gulabchand, Chairman and Managing Director, Hindustan Construction Company, India; Ellen Kullman, Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, DuPont, USA; Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hero Group, India; Dennis Nally, Chairman, PricewaterhouseCoopers International, PricewaterhouseCoopers, USA.
