Incredible India Campaign

The Ministry of Tourism as part of its on-going activity, releases campaigns in the International and Domestic markets, under the ‘Incredible India’ brand-line, to promote various tourism destinations and products of the country, to increase foreign tourist arrivals and promote domestic tourism in the country.

The expenditure on promotion of India as a tourist destination in International and Domestic Markets is incurred from funds allocated under the “Restructured Scheme of Overseas Promotion and Publicity including Marketing Development Assistance” and “Domestic Promotion and Publicity including Hospitality” heads respectively. Details of funds allocated and expenditure incurred under these heads during the last three financial years and the current financial year (as on 31.10.2011) are given below:
