Global Ayurveda Summit 2010

Ayurveda originated in India and its practice was intense particularly in Kerala. The science of Ayurveda evolved through eminent practitioners who utilised the rich herbal resource and researched on its usage according to principles of Ayurveda. It is critical that all stakeholders realize its growth potential in areas like Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing, healthcare, exports and tourism. It is also time for us to position India as a Global Ayurveda hub. The objective of the summit is to create a global market place, achieve standardisation and quality in raw material, process and products, integrate health and tourism and leverage IT for delivering ayurveda services.
